The Way Huge Pork Loin is a soft-clipping overdrive designed to add harmonic saturation to your signal. Using a soft-clipped BiFET gain stage, the Pork Loin provides warm and smooth overdrive that enhances your tone rather than completely transforming it. It's a versatile pedal, ranging from warmer, thicker clean tones to extra-crunchy, searing distortion. 

The Pork Loin is powered by a British-voiced preamp, and the Tone control helps you tame or push the highs. What sets the Pork Loin apart from other overdrives is the "Clean" knob, which blends in the dry, unaffected signal. By blending clean signal back in with the overdriven sound, you're able to rein in the amount of saturation and maintain the clarity of your original guitar tone. The Curve control is a little more nuanced—it allows you to control the corner frequencies, meaning you can set the part of the EQ band that the filter is clipping. When the Curve is set lower, there is way more bass content and warmth to the overdrive, whereas higher settings give you more grit and treble. When you set Curve control all the way down, the Pork Loin becomes very interesting for bass (in addition to guitar).

This 2010s Way Huge Pork Loin shows some scuffs and signs of use, but it functions 100% as it should. Much of the lettering on the underside has rubbed off, and there are signs of velcro in the past. The internal trim pots are still at their original factory settings. The Pork Loin is an extremely versatile pedal. On your pedalboard, it can fill a ton of different roles—it can be an always-on tone-shaping tool, a quick EQ change, a boost (clean or slightly dirty), a searing solo boost, or just a low to medium gain dirt pedal.
